The registration system
Registration will this year be different from previous times. Participants register individually and pay online as part of the registration process. For activities with restrictions you will receive notification about your acceptance immediately.
Fee and Festival Pass
Registration and payment of the fee will grant you a Festival Pass for NORDLEK 2012. This includes free access to the majority of activities, such as dances, dancing classes, musical playing classes, national shows, Nordic folklore etc.
For membership prices, you need to hold a membership in one of Nordlek’s member organisations. You can find these organisations on www.nordlek.org.
Dances are not included in the entry form. These are free for all Festival Pass holders. Classes with unlimited access, and other shows and ceremonies with Festival Pass access included are not included in the entry form. For full program, look at the program pages, the registration system will not give you insight into all activities.
Activities in the registration system have additional fees or limitations in number of participants. This includes excursions, some concerts and some classes.
Transportation from Campus Steinkjer to Steinkjer town centre with shops, hotels and other dormitories are included in the Festival Pass.
Children aged 0-13 are granted free Festival Passes, but have to be registered.
Activities with additional fees
We have focused on presenting quality concerts, some of them productions prepared for NORDLEK 2012, and need to charge for attendance. However, ticket prices for Festival Pass holders are kept very low.. The Ball and the Western Nordic Evening at Stiklestad also have additional fees, as does the excursions. By ticking your activities in the entry form, you will be presented with the total fee for payment prior to log out.
If cancellations are necessary, e.g. due to low interest, you will be given prior notice and fees will be returned upon arrival and registration at NORDLEK 2012’s festival office.
Waiting lists
If you wish to attend a concert, class or excursion with no available spaces, you have to tick this to be allocated a space on the waiting list. If places frees up, you will be notified in an e-mail to your registered address. When receiving this e-mail you can log back on and buy the ticket.
Do you wish to change your registration?
At first login you need to register a personal password. Using this you can log on and make changes at any time. You might want to book more concert tickets, cancel an excursion or class. If your changes increases your fee, you need to pay online. If your changes decreases your fee, your money will be returned cash (NOK) on registration when you arrive Steinkjer.
Accommodation in the registration system
Classroom/dormitory. If you wish to stay in dormitories, you need to register this in the registration system. One person = one space. If your group wish to stay in the same dormitory, all participants need to register with the same group name. Groups can not pre-book dormitories.
Campsite: The first one in the family/group staying together in tent, caravan or mobile home, registers this and pays for the space. The others need to tick the alternative ”camping together with other person”, preventing multiple registration.
You do not book hotel or rent private houses through the registration system. Check accomodation information
Food in the registration system
You can order food and prepay this through the registration system. If you wish to cook your own food, eat in local restaurants or in Nordlek’s own dinner restaurant ”Smak på Trøndelag” (”Taste Trøndelag”), these meals are not booked through the registration system. You can make arrangements upon arrival.
Paying for others?
You can enter groups or a family in one operation. You will make this choice in the first page of the registration system. You will have to enter one person at the time, completing separate entry forms before paying the total sum.

Payment
Participation is paid via credit/debit card online. All payments in NOK.
Booking is reserved when registration starts, but confirmed only when payment is received by NORDLEK.
Booking will never be deletid without prior attempts by NORDLEK to contact the customer by mail or telephone.
All amounts are in Norwegian kroner unless otherwise stated.
In addition to the activity fee will € 2.75 (about NOK 22, -) be added as registration fee per person and 4.95% of total amount of the transaction cost to the card issuer. This will be stated on the receipt.
Cancellations/Refunds
On cancellations before 1 March we offer a full refund, less administration costs of NOK 200 and SWIFT-costs.
On cancellations from 2 March and 1 June we offer a 50% refund.
For full refund at a later time, you need to produce a medical certificate.
Cancellation insurance is recommended.
Private accomodation
In the entry form you will answer questions about accomodation. Please note PRIVATE ACCOMODATION are ordinary private homes and payment is made directly to the landlord. The festival camp/family camp is ordered and separately and paid directly to NORDLEK.
